I only need a listener... Caught myself calling my daddy to check on my momma this morning... It was a habit. I would drop Amyra off at school and call to talk to her. I would say Good morning momma. Have you eaten your breakfast and drank your coffee? You know I miss you like crazy dont you? You know I love you a million dont you? Ill be back in 5 days ok? She would answer each question week by week, day by day with a much more frail voice. In my heart I knew her time was slowly coming to an end, but the fleshly part of me didnt want to accept that. I was still holding on to every ounce of faith that I had. I knew God was in control, I knew God didnt make any mistakes, and I knew regardless of what the outcome was gonna be I had to STILL trust him! As I sit here wiping away the tears this morning, I thank God for giving me the absolute best momma in the world for 39 years. This is NOT the end! I WILL see her again one day (like my daddy says) in just a little while!! My momma just died to live again... Please keep my family in your prayers!!
