I ordered from the library, and then gave Susan a copy of Texas Tough. It is about the history of our prison system - She is a Parole Officer for youthful offenders. I was SHOCKED that she not only read this huge tome, but did it in a week. She likewise read the Tom Robbins book I got her for her Birthday, Jitterbug Perfume, in two weeks. This girl (actually beautiful woman) works, sometimes 7 days a week. She is like a book vacuum cleaner. She INHALES them ! Why does that turn me ON SO MUCH ! I really am smitten, folks. Shes the knees of the bees. (and the meow of the cat and also its pajamas) Oh, she also watches her soaps (GH in Particular), and her CASTLE, and other stuff I hate like Greys Anatomy (Brians Anathema). She is not a nerdy intellectual, but it is SO RARE to find someone who can appreciate stuff that is nourishing, and remain normal and humble. I certainly cannot do that. I have WINTER LIGHT by Ingemar Bergman on TCM on my TV right now. I am a snob ! That is why I am Living On Monkey Island Right In The Middle Of The Zoo (an outsider faking it), and SHE is just doing her thing, raising her daughter, and cooler than me. I hope I learn something from Susan. I want to. I have learned so much from every relationship I have had, almost always with strong intelligent women, and I exert MY influence, but find that they in turn teach me so much. I am so happy to see my influence occasionally flower in them, but I hope they know how much their influence has flowered and developed in me. It really has. I am so thankful for that. ( I have completely lost track of Lisa, the blind girl, for years - I think that is because I SHOULD), but she taught me much, and on her part, she went from spending every day un-showered in her bathrobe and slippers, to getting her degree and having a job that involves travel. Plus she still plays in a band with her new boyfriend. Good for her. Did I do that? NO!!!! SHE DID, but did I have an influence about that? I wont BS here. I absolutely did. My point is that Susan is another of Gods Gifts, if you believe in that stuff. LUCK, if you believe in that stuff, I really do not know WHY, but I am THRILLED that she IS. Gorgeous, intelligent. Good sense of humor, adventurous. REALLY BEAUTIFUL, (I know that was covered under gorgeous, but it is a super bonus so I said it twice). Interested in Me? I have no idea. She seems to be. I cant imagine why, but I will do whatever I can to keep it that way. Dear GOD. Can I FINALLY KEEP ONE or all of them catch and release?
