I organized a Food For Picky Eaters class today. On the left, Michelle Woo made her overnight no cooked oats with chopped fresh fruits. On the top right, the ladies were cutting up cauliflower for the cauliflower mash and the carrot lentil ginger soup. The bottom was the pineapple pegaga smoothie. From start to finish, I didnt wash the Thermomix demo cooking / blending jug, not once. This is to show, with proper planning, we can make tons of things even with water rationing. Better to eat cheap and nutritious homecooked meal than eating outside, you dont know if its clean .... -I started with the pineapple pegaga smoothie. -Then I made mango broccoli sweet potato smoothie -I still didnt wash the jug and made cashew nut milk. -After that, I fried the onion and ginger. Blended it up. And cooked the onion, ginger, lentils, carrot and coconut milk (it really is a health food) in the jug. -I steamed the cauliflower above. -When the soup was ready, I served the soup. -Then I poured the cauliflower into the unwashed jug and pureed it with butter and pepper. You can cook anything, even on the gas stove and wash minimal stuff with proper planning.
