I paid our PLDT bill at the PLDT Office in La Paz and got an Acknowledgement Receipt. I asked the cashier why she is giving me an Acknowledgement Receipt and not an Official Receipt and she said the AR was already the OR. The simple answer would have been that the OR is being sent with your bill. The worst thing is, the other, seem to be more experienced cashier, answered that even the COA accepts Acknowledgement Receipts! Is this true, Jen Ignacio? I insisted that an AR is different from an OR. Spelling pa lang bala, lain na. I hope that PLDT give their employees proper orientation on what they are doing exactly. Otherwise, they are employing robots who do nothing more than receive money and print out acknowledgement receipts (which are DIFFERENT from official receipts!)
