I painted my first mural when I was 16 and have painted many of them since. The same is true for my dear friend and talented muralist Alex Cook. Recently, we worked on our first collaborative project in decades, on the side of Recycle-A-Bicycle in Long Island City, Queens. The best part was that we got to work with a 16 year old young man named Sunny who was now painting his first mural, too. Lots of full circles here:
