I pay my taxes because I do not have a choice. For the BIR to claim that more taxes equals more social services is an insult to the working class. Consistent with the inherent power of the State to collect taxes should be its moral responsibility to insure that taxes are efficiently used for the benefit of the people. Pardon what I have started to believe, more taxes means more corruption.
