I personally hate vinegar as a cleaner, as it makes everything smell like vinegar after! I keep seeing the suggestion about using vinegar to clean washing machines? Instead I would suggest running some bleach on a hot empty cycle, that will clean out the washer, and after you finish a wash, just leave the door/lid open, so it can dry out. If you do this you will avoid the bad mold smell that is caused from moisture in the machine.
