I personally think EVERY set man should be very hard on their prophets!! Without competent prophets whose value is beyond personal prophecy, progress is always challenged. Gods chief concern with moving vision forward, is finding competent and capable prophetic messengers that can articulate His decisions and doings to adequately arm His intercessors and leaders with faith and instructions for forward movements. I am very very strict on people in my Church called to the office of prophet. Considering that progress and provision are prophetic, a lazy prophet can limit a leaders access and faith for both!!! As prophets, you need to resolve that making you accurate is not as hard as making you reliable. Someone born with the prophets spirit will always run into accuracy. However it really does take years, decades even, for you to become reliable and for the sifting of your soul and psyche to be such that it doesnt place restrictions or disease your revelatory faculties and focus. If you are a senior leader you need to be HARD on your prophets and if you dont know how to be, call someone that does and get them in order!!! Your vision is suffering because of it. The prophets that are serving in my Church know....homie dont play that!
