I picked this RWANDA , HUTU , TUTSI , BANYARWANDA , BAFUMBIRA question from the face book from exchanges on radios in Uganda and on streets in Kampala and many cities and villages of Uganda. I never keep any dirt underneath the carpet. This is a burning issue growing out of proportion and can easily cause a big crisis like we saw in the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. I blame it on ignorance, colonization of Africa and mismanagement of public affairs by all post colonial regimes Uganda has had . Like Dr Muniini K Mulera I am surprised to see that not some but many Ugandans have not read such important history. We are now like the seven blind men who went to "see" an elephant for the first time. Everyone had a different version of how the elephant looked like. If they knew how to write they would have come up with seven books with seven different description of an elephant! Todays exchanges must have informed us of why this issue in particular and tribalism in general are not a thing to keep underneath the carpet! I acted as a messenger and am happy for the enthusiasm. What can we do to have masses of Uganda get out of this quagmire!
