I picked up a dirt cheap copy of one of the remastered/bonus track - TopicsExpress

I picked up a dirt cheap copy of one of the remastered/bonus track copies of Creedence Clearwater Revivals Cosmos Factory (superb album by the way) and was reminded of the simple lyrical genius of the song Run Through The Jungle. So what is it? Better run through the jungle of Vietnam or the domestic jungles of the inner cities and college campuses? (The song was released in July 1970, two months after the shootings at Kent State and Jackson State). I suspect that its any or all of the above. And its all so deceptively simple and seamlessly done. And of course like any excellent rock and roll song (lyrics be damned) it rocks and its good for your ears. Nicely played, Mr. Fogerty, very nicely played. As always, because Im such a nice and resourceful fella, see the first comment below for the lyricals of which I speak. m.youtube/watch?list=XX5Dik0ObF7jvRmWDbSLSMojt2OuCOsY&v=EbI0cMyyw_M&client=mv-google&hl=en&gl=US
