I placed one of my last rescue borders today (only one more left). Cajete was adopted by a loving woman recently relocated to Salem, Oregon. Her whippet girl recently passed away and her heart is broken. It was love at first sight and Cajete is already helping to mend the broken heart. They drove off together in a little VW Bug full of dog food, bowls, a cave bed, a fluffy dog bed, a crate, jammies, a coat, and a sweater. I wanted Cajete to have a comfortable transition. I will miss her sweet kisses. A big thank you to whippet friend Karen for helping with the adoption process. Team Work is the best. rOo rOo rOo to Cajete and her new mOm.
