I plead with parents to allow their sons to make a new home on their own with their wives. It is not Islamically correct to force them to live with you and it is often psychologically damaging to their relationships. Allow them their privacy and intimacy and their right to develop their own home without your interference. I have had so many complaints of daughters-in-law about their mothers and fathers - in- law it is very saddening. Dr Bilal
