I post a lot. So many of my friends/family likely skip things I post. No biggie. Id like to ask that you watch this. I dont have words for it. I feel compelled to say something to two people after watching this video: TeRi PoRter and Johnny Hicks are my parents. On April 8, 1978 they were told they had a daughter. They chose an amazing name: Dacia. Some of you may not have known me by that name. We pronounced it Daysha. What a great name. And they loved me. They dreamed for me. They loved having a little girl, a daughter. The only girl of many boys.The only sister to several brothers. Thirty years later, they learned in a concrete manner, that their only daughter was another son. I still remember when my mom told me that her heart broke when she realized she would never buy another card that read daughter. The transition was not easy for my family, but man did they ever nail it! Mom and Dad, you loved me well. I do believe I am alive, happy, and healthy today because in Gods infinite wisdom, I was given you as my parents. I love you. Thank you. So... watch this video. Listen especially for two moments.
