I post a lot of anti-religious things because religion opposes science. For some reason many people think that science should tolerate religion. I dont see why anyone should be expected to tolerate ideas that are demonstrably wrong be they scientific, religious, political, or whatever. Not all ideas are equal. Science requires evidence, and verification. Religion requires faith. The reason I oppose religion so vehemently is because not only does it muddy the waters of rational thought, but Science often has to refute preconceived religious bias before showing people truth. It should not be like that. If something has a legitimate truth claim, it should not oppose demonstrable truth.
