I post many items on Craigslist. Doing so I am contacted by many people looking to scam me by overnighting a check and having me Western-union them cash for shipping before it clears my bank. I always have them overnight a check, because it costs them about $20 to do so, I figure if everyone that was ever contacted by them did this, then they would be bankrupt in a day. Then I do not deposit the check. They then call or text to ask me to send them money. I refuse and tell them I know it is a scam, sometimes they get violent and threaten to kill me, no joke. So, if anything ever happens to me it is the craigslist killer out of either Pakistan, Nigeria, or some other crap-hole. I figure I would say something because I just got a friend request out of Pakistan.
