I post this speech every year for Martin Luther King Day. Its my favorite of his. He delivered it at the Church of God in Christ here in Memphis, TN the night before he was shot. It almost forshadows his death as he talks about there coming a time when he couldnt lead the Civil Rights movement and that others would have to carry onthe work of his cause. Something is happening in our world. The masses of people are rising up. And wherever they are assembled today, whether they are in Johannesburg, South Africa; Nairobi, Kenya; Accra, Ghana; New York City; Atlanta, Georgia; Jackson, Mississippi; or Memphis, Tennessee -- the cry is always the same: We want to be free.
