I posted Monday about my cousins daughter and her unborn baby. Here is the update posted by my cousin today. Keep praying friends! We have being doing a lot of research online since baby Oakley went to Denver. I found a team of doctors and social workers in Billings Mt that provide perinatal pallative care. That is care given to a baby who has a fatal or life threatening illness. They will care for Phebie through the rest of her pregnancy and provide care and arrange hospice care for Oakley if he would survive birth and be able to come home. We meet with the care team yesterday in Billings. She had an ultrasound for over an hour an a half. Dr Damron in Billings gave us hope!! He saw him swallowing in utero, opening and closing his hands. His heart and lungs looked good. He even saw folds beginning to form on his brain!! We will go back in a month to Billings to have more tests done. We are praying for more results like this! Please continue to join your faith with ours and pray!! I believe that every prayer and every tear shed by all those that love baby Oakley have reached the heavens!! We are so happy to plan a nursery and not a funeral!! Thank The Lord we put our faith in you and not the doctor and giving my daughter and Cody Hawk the courage and faith to carry a baby that another dr thought was better disposed of. When there is a pulse there is a purpose!!
