I posted a little thing about how I relax with my bees under Renees wonderful post but I think it might help others to know how others relax now esp after quitting smoking. How about sharing a few minutes on how we rewind after an esp hard day, or how we celebrate being smokefree. Perfect. My special time to unwind and relax is sitting down by my bees. I have a blue bench that once was in a hockey rink we set down under the Apricot tree about 2 feet away from the hives. Hearing the slight humming of the bees wings as they cool off the hive so the honey will dry, having a little bee land on you just for a bit of a rest before she makes it those last few inches home, the smell of sweet honey is amazing on a hot day. The blue sky, the leaves rustling in a breeze while one dog is on the bench with me and another is almost laying in front of the hive. (other dog wants nothing to do with bees). This where I go when I need a break or had a hard day at work and it is where I am most grateful that I dont smoke since I would never be able to enjoy these moments of pure bliss
