I posted a rather sad year end message to FB a year ago. 2013 was a real shit show, and by the end of it, I felt the urge to share. I was surprised, but also deeply warmed, by the response to that post, which was loving, empathetic, and positive. I did carry that energy into the new year, and one way to thank all of you, is to bookend that sad message with a glad one. 2014 was so much better in so many ways--creatively, healthwise, energywise, and most importantly, in my connections to the important people around me, as well as within the broader community, not least of all Facebook. I wish for all of you in 2015 that you experience deepenings in all the areas of your life that matter. I hope you have your loved ones around you, and that it gives you the energy to reach out to others, especially those less fortunate than you. I hope you make new discoveries and get rid of at least one of your bad habits, such as not buying enough books by local authors whose last names start with the letter R. Okay, any letter. Most of all I hope you experience peace and spread it. We could all use a little more of it. Through this cold digital medium, I send you all warm wishes for the new year.
