I posted the following on my personal Facebook page this morning and would like to challenge our Positively Republican fans to do the same to get people talking. Politicians try to divide us but when we start talking, perhaps we can come together. Here it is: On Martin Luther King Jr Day Id like to do something different than just post feel good quotes. I want to ask some questions, and I hope I get some responses from both my black and my white friends (and my friends from other races as well). What do you think we can do to improve race relations in America? What is the biggest obstacle to improving race relations? What is one thing you wish people of a different race knew about you that you think maybe they dont know or understand? Please be respectful, as this topic can be sensitive for people. Id like us to seek understanding of one another rather than try to defeat the other with our arguments. Ill delete any inappropriate comments.
