Like it or not, people are starting to take the Right/Privilege to vote seriously (thank GOD!) and so, if you got something to say... you better SAY IT or someone else will say it for you (in the worse possible way). You could plan to give away free do-nuts but if no one knows where, when, or how – you’re going to have a lot of wasted dough. Plus, (like I said long ago) the Tea Party, the Libertarians, the Moderate Conservatives, the Evangelicals, and the Establishment are real groups within the GOP that need to be satiated before moving ahead. Adapt or Die, ‘cause over-specialization will only get you so far. (PS listen too, people like RICE).< Since then I have heard similar sentiments. Mine stemmed from the NAACP giving Mitt Romney a standing ovation, BECAUSE he showed-up and took the heat. (Later, someone would famously advice him not to waste his time). Chris Christy echoed that sentiment many times. So yes, you got to show-up and make yourself available to even people who didnt vote for you or else you will be stuck in the same cycle. ---Some of Republicans were complaining like they had been through Jim Crow laws or something.
