I posted this at at 7am on Wednsday Jan 22nd.. SATURDAY: Mostly Cloudy with snow showers, may briefly mix with rain. Highs near 32. A few inches possible. Overnight will be Mostly Cloudy. Lows near 20. SUNDAY: Partly Sunny and cold. Highs near 27. Overnight will be mostly cloudy. Lows near 16. MONDAY: Mostly Cloudy, scattered snow showers. A few inches possible. Highs near 24. Overnight will mostly cloudy. Lows near 16. QUICK LITTLE WEATHER UPDATE BEFORE BED... We are going to have a few low pressure systems moving towards Long Island through Tuesday. As of now they look weak, I will look at more in detail tomorrow morning. 1. Cold front Thursday evening see here - hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/basicwx/96f.gif, will bring a a few flurries or passing snow showers. It will turn colder. 2. Saturday another cold front - see here - hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/medr/9jh.gif will bring some snow showers. Maybe coating to 2 inches. 3. Monday see map here - hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/medr/9lh.gif area of low pressure will be swinging through New England as of now looks weak, maybe a coating to 2 inches. I will be looking at these storms more on Thursday morning and will update. Temperatures will be staying well below normal through end of January.
