I posted this in a conversation about the Love being lost in community. I want to repost this part of the conversation here: Born in sin was a term used by David to describe a feeling about himself and he never said we or mankind, read it! If were gonna take Davids words and make them theology, why not go with Psalm 139:14 where he says he was fearfully and wonderfully made. See, well downplay the ones who havent been to church, but to make a flashy point in a sermon well talk about the evil of the ones that have been in church and how much mess is within the ranks of church folk. Come on! Wake up! We have to quit categorizing what God has created, For it is He that hath made us and not we ourselves. But we remake ourselves through what we call Gods word., which really turns out to be no more than an interpretation of words written by men inspired by God, but remixed by preachers and such. Its the same thing that was done during slavery. They had to recondition the powerful black men and women who they took out of Africa and tell them that they were nothing. Then they gave them slavery as a means to a least serve someone who saved them from their wretched lives. Wake UP!!! What do you believe?
