I posted yesterday on here about volunteering, but I want to join the introduction bandwagon here: My name is Emma, Im 21 (be my friend and Ill buy you beer!) Im from North Seattle area, and I will be a transfer student from Shoreline Community College. I start this winter quarter, and Ill be living right off south campus.. Im a little sad Ill miss out on the dorm experience. Anyways, Im still undecided in my major, but Im deeply interested in sociology and art. I was a dancer (ballet) during high school and I look forward to doing sports in college like track or gymnastics. My favorite movies are the Studio Ghibli/Miyazaki films Spirited Away, Howls Moving Castle, etc. I have the dragon, Haku, tattooed on my arm (If that doesnt explain my dedication to the films I dont know what does!) I think its really interesting learning about everyone and where they are from. One of the things that excites me most about Western is getting the chance to study abroad!
