I pray for the day that we live in a world where we judge a man not by the color of his skin but by the content of his character.---Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I quoted him because once again, good ole Lake County rises up. My son, Caleb Robinson, had to deal with this once again. For those of you that dont know, Caleb Robinson is my son; his biological mother is black. That being said: to the parents of the little girl whom my son was thinking about dating: you are truly missing out. My boy was raised right. Brought up to respect his elders, give more than he takes, to leave the world better than what he found it. To treat a woman with the utmost respect; to open doors for a woman, pull her chair out at a dinner table, say, Yes maam and No maam, to chew with his mouth closed; that hard work and determination are the only way that he will ever get ahead in this world. That the strongest ties in this life are the ones that are tied to the next; that Jesus died for his sins. That true character matters more than the color of anybodys skin. That good people come from all walks of life. That our town, our community, will always love him and support him as long as he walks the right road in this world. That no man is better than any other; that sacrifice and love are what built this great country. But no, you shallow idiots got to believe that a colored boy aint good enough for your daughter. Keep thinking that way. Good riddance. Your little princess aint worthy to tie my boys cleats on Friday night. #THEUHASYOURBACK
