I prayed that God would show me what my friendly would be and when. I had to go into the Verizon store the other day to pick up a phone. I knew what I needed. I didnt need anything more and I didnt have much time. I waited for a sales person too long ;) So when one was available I told him what I was there for and that I had 10 minutes to be outa there. They work by commission to my knowledge, so unfortunately for this salesman I was not going to make him much money. With a nice attitude he skipped the pitches and got me through my sale and I was soon to be out the door but realized I needed a screen protector since I wasnt buying a cover at that moment. So I asked him if they had any basic screen covers - I was thinking, Like the free ones I usually get from Costco ;) - He said sure and literally dashed off to grab a cover. As he headed to the store room I asked to see the box - I am frugal, extremely frugal, so I wanted to see what I was buying and for how much. I looked at the tag and nearly choked when saw this basic cover was $19.99!! I ALMOST told the man to forget it but then Daves name popped into my head and I heard, This is it. So, I guess the man really needed some aspect of that sale because with that, it was a done one. So while he was meticulously, and slowly, placing the cover on the glass I smiled and said This is in memory of a man named Dave Robecker. I got his card & told him I appreciated him completing my transaction so quickly. Then I was out the door. Thats my be friendly & bless someone story. I am glad I got to participate. ~ My prayers for you all as you enjoy memories of your dearly loved one.
