I predict that all Provincial Beach Parks will have live streaming video of wave /beach conditions within the next 5 years. These cams will be installed by the province to attract more visitors . I also predict that there will be numerous live streaming webcam views of Cow Bay,Lawrencetown, Seaforth ,Martinique etc as more and more net savy non -surfers follow the precedent already being set by a certain resident who is garnering income from page hit advertisers like Tim Hortons etc. The best cams will get the most hits and earn the most $. Cams that have a poor view will dry up and die be cause they have no traffic. I expect some non surfer residents will be approached by to run a cam from their front window for a cut of the $ pie. Do I like the idea? Not really. Will I use the services? Probably.
