I present the following points on behalf of my Church, the Greek Patriarchate of Alexandria and all Africa. 1. We have to take into account what was wrong, many members, especially the ones are responsible for more than 50% of the pollution, failed for full implementation of the Protocol of Kyoto. 2. So in the new Protocol to avoid the mistakes of the Kyoto Protocol. The new agreement to provide policies with the participation of all the members. 3. Climate change and Poverty and protection of Human Rights, global security and democracy are interrelating. As Faith communities we have to emphasize always that the whole Planet is a gift for the whole Humanity for all the generations and our role is to protect this gift and sharing together all the things with the suffering people. 4. The financial problem is relating to our role to propose new ways to get funds for climate change action. For example, reduction in all the countries members of the UN by 10% on their annual militaries expenses in order to be use for green economy and to finish poverty and equal opportunities for education for all the children. The rich countries to give 5% for this money to the green fund for the poor countries and the remaining 5% for their countries. The poor countries to use the 10% only for their countries. The important thing of course is to be sure that there is Democracy and good government in these countries and that they will use these funds for green economy and not to carry on be involved in corruption. We can collect also money for the green fund by special tax 5 usa dollars on any air ticket. The important thing when we are talking about equity is to propose also as faith communities ways how can we get funds for this important financial policy. 5. As Faith communities , we have to propose, new ways of our global and local and nationals economies. Today our global economy is there only for the people they have money. We have to propose ways also for the people they don’t have money. These people today are nearly the half of the whole population of our world. 85,000 people are owners of the money and property of the half of the population of the whole world. When I say to give opportunities to the people they don’t have money, I mean, these people to get loans as groups to work as co-operative bodies with a very low interest 1% to develop green economy projects to be able to give food, medical care and education to their children. 6. The negotiations on climate change should play a role to unite the divided international community and especially the members of the Security Counsil of the UN to stop wars in Syria, Ukraine, Iraq and other parts of the world. At the same time as Faith Communities, we have to remind to our Political leaders, not their own national military and financial and political interests of the current divisions of the international community to risk the common good will for the new protocol on climate change. 7. As faith communities, to emphasize to the parties that until the implementation of the new Protocol in 2020, we have to take action on dealing with climate change problems now with the participation of all the members countries of the UN. 8. The new Protocol to be accurate for dates of implementation for all the members countries of the UN. 9. To propose faith communities to come in contact with the ministers of environment and some other officials of the delegations at the cop20 in their countries now to get more information about the meeting there and to propose to them ways to protect their people in their country and the whole Humanity and the whole Planet. 10. As faith communities to use the Ebola tragedy as a result that the members countries of the UN failed to work together for global crises, and the common action on climate action is an opportunity how to improve international organizations like UN to work together for the good of the whole Humanity.
