I produced my final sports page today for the West Plains Daily Quill. When my proof page was finished and I walked across the room for the last time to pull it from the printer, reality started to hit me and my emotions kicked in and took over. Saying goodbye is never easy and it was especially hard for me today. I want to say now what I struggled to say today to my longtime co-workers who are and will always be my friends -- I am moving on to another exciting chapter in my life with a lot of new friends and I am so happy, but you all will remain a big part of my life forever. You have been much more than co-workers in my life. You are dear friends. Thank you so much for the going away party today, all of the delicious food and the sweet, funny card and generous gift!!
