I promise I am not trying to start anything, and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but this article struck a nerve, (mostly because I post these types of photos, honestly). I am all for political correctness and being aware of peoples feelings, but where do we draw the line? Whos to say these photos arent an accumulation of several houses worth of gifts for these kids and since when is it not OK to post a picture of Christmas gifts, because it might offend someone who cannot afford the same for their families? What about vacation photos? Not everyone can afford to take vacations. What about new car photos? Not everyone can afford new cars. Wedding photos? New jewelry? Pets? Not everyone can afford those either. I mean the list could go on. Isnt the whole point of Facebook, to share the fun and exciting things going on in your life? And while were being honest, if you are really that offended by what you see on Facebook, a years worth of internet cost roughly $360...think of how many gifts could be bought with that......
