Father Theresa officiating: Welcome parishioners! May your tank heaters be cranking and your metal halide reef lights be aglow this cold Sunday morning at the end of our winter! An aquaculturist was feeding his tanks. In one tank he sowed floating fish pellets, and the surface feeders grew and prospered, but the mid level and bottom feeders slowly starved. In another tank he sowed flake food, the cheap box store brand, that rapidly took on water and sank, so all levels god fed but poorly, with insufficient nutrients, so they lived but did not grow or thrive. In another tank, he sowed sinking pellets, so the top feeders starved, a few midlevel fish got a meal, but the bottom feeders had a party and ate well. And in a fourth tank, his valued display tank of a hundred species from around the world, he sewed fl;oating pellets, sinking pellets, good quality flake, and live foods like daphnia and brine shrimp and tubifex, and canned and frozen foods like kelp and minced clams, and he target fed the shy ones special treats and in this tank all grew and prospered and reproduced... Such is the Kingdom of Cod, for only by nourishing each and every individual with the knowledge and morals and goodness of the Reef Tank of Everlasting Life can all be saved to sit on the Right Pectoral Fin of Cods Throne, above the Faux Epoxy Resin Shipwreck, and to the Left of the Eternally Opening and Closing Bubbling Treasure Chest.
