I pulled an epic fail today. I spent the day painting doors and trim in the house and stopped when it was time to feed the dogs at 5:30. Not even thinking about it, I left the paint pan full of white paint on the floor (right in front of the dog bed that Heidi and Harley were in) and went to the kitchen and grabbed the dog food container out from under the sink. As always, the dogs all got excited and came running into the kitchen. Then to my surprise, i see a white dog running into the kitchen (none of our dogs our white). Poor Heidi in the excitement of dinner time ran out of her bed and right into the paint tray tracking paint all the way through the entry way, through the kitchen and into the dining room. I had to snatch her up before she made anymore art work on our brand new floors and immediately ran her to the tub and rinsed her in warm water ruining my Superman T-shirt in the process. I learned a very valuable lesson today. #notfunny #scrubbedmyassoff #needanewsupermantshirt
