I pulled two paragraphs about two of my favorite people, Michael Patrick McMillan and Tishaura O. Jones; who are on a famous annual Naughty or Nice List by a major MO/IL weekly. BTW both are on Santas Nice lists for exceptional leadership! Bravo! Mazel tov! Congrats! ************************************************** City Treasurer Tishaura Jones: A rising star, who appeals to all parties; refuses to fix parking tickets for the political elite or anyone for that matter. She’s taking her treasurer’s office into the computerized-consumer-friendly jet era; and is being labeled an integrity prince, once reserved for the likes of St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and Collector of Revenue Gregory F.X. Daly. She’s made the “nice” list. Michael Patrick McMillan: When others are yelling at each other, burning down relationships and buildings, the new CEO of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis takes his resources — corporate donations and federal contracts and sweeps the underlying issues from underneath the rug — servicing, educating and giving equalizing life’s chances to the disenfranchised. On the “nice” list.
