I purchased this Craftsman saber saw from Sears back in the 1970`s - TopicsExpress

I purchased this Craftsman saber saw from Sears back in the 1970`s and the on/off switch stopped working in it about 10 years ago. The parts were n/a to buy and there was not a replacement switch made for it now. I did not have the heart to throw it away and saved it for parts. WOW, I took it apart and checked the on/off switch and circuit board the switch went to and found both were good. I replaced the power cord with one I had from another saw and it repaired it and works great now.
