I put Mikal in the car after parking at Artic Circle yesterday. We had been in there a hour or so. She said I smell fire, the fire trucks has just gone by. I said there was a fire close, she said I hope not my house, then I said it does smell bad. I looked down and smoke was streaming out my glove box, I said I think we have the fire, she said call 911, ( she is 3 1/2) I opened it and nothing inside was on fire. There is a lot of technology in the car, so I thought it could be some wire short, by now there was a tiny flame and more smoke. I got Mikal out of ther seat and threw all the water that I had on it, but it kept burning, so we went inside and called her Dad and waiting for it to go up in flames. When he got there he said this is your problem, and I had left my old lady giant 10xs mirror (the one that I use to put on makeup and see the old lady fur on my face). The sun had reflected off it making a laser beam and had burned a hole in the glove box. Another one of those internet warnings, only I know that this really happend.
