I put a little submersible pump in my laundry basin, the sink into which my washing machine dumps its water. I dont know if laundry water still works that way, but in my house it does. I attached the pump to my hose and watered the whole front garden with one load of wash. It was super easy to do. I also have been collecting the dish water in my kitchen sink and scooping that out to water my outdoor plants. At Adama, we started keeping a bucket in the prep sink and saving that water to water the patio plants, but it was ridiculous how much water we collected. We couldnt use it all. We could probably collect 50 gallons in a day just of that water. It breaks my heart. If anyone wants a days worth of collected water from cleaning veggies to water with, let me know. We are happy to save it on a daily basis. Or even just ten gallons worth. Hope you have a pick-up truck.
