I put together an Overview of the latest Effect Pedals available for Musicians. Hope you find it useful. Lib Dem coalition Pedal Clegg setting: Didn’t do anything it said it would, come’s in Blue & Yellow but blue is the more dominant colour. Cameron setting: Pretty much no change to the original earlier Thatcher model Not really for the working musician as it’s the most expensive of all of them and doesn’t really do anything you want it to do and you end up just paying more money to fix it. Labour Pedal: Miliband: Wet fish setting. Plenty of delay but no real fire in its belly I think the makers have somewhat lost the plot with this one and it’s not going to worry the competition too much. Pie & Peas Setting is quite a meaty sound but can be a bit mushy overall I think it has just a tad more clarity though than the Lib Dem coalition Pedal. Comes in a kind of Pinkish colour with a hint of blue around the edges. UKIP Pedal: Farage Setting: Takes off quite well but is prone to crashing quite badly . The overview makes it appeal to quite a few people but overall this was by far the noisiest and unproven of all of them. It comes with no EU adapter so is only available in the UK and it has no guarantee. It does however offer the odd freebees to friends and family. BNP Pedal. This is really cheap and nasty wouldn’t waste any time with this one it does come with a choice of any colour apart from Black. Not really for the modern musician, it’s quite a throwback to a time best forgotten. Tony Benn pedal. By far the best in my opinion, Comes in vibrant red, it does exactly what it says it will do, it is solid reliable and won’t let you down. Downside : It’s no longer available as this is a discontinued model getting anything like this will be really difficult and rare as they just don’t make them like this anymore. I hope my review has been of some help.
