I put up a post a while back asking for clarification on Phillipe Karls flexions and thank you Dorothy and Derek for the detailed explanations that you gave me. Im in the west of Ireland and will have no chance to get to England at the moment so Ive just gone ahead and attempted to put them into practise. Im not sure if I have it all correct but my retrained trotter (who has a scarred tongue and can be very hard mouthed at times) is suddenly happy having a bit in his mouth and is a lot lighter in the hand. Im also practising it with two young horses and I love how it introduces them to the bit and how light they are. Im not one hundred percent sure if Im doing it correctly though as there are a lot of subtleties in the positions. I dont think there is anyone in Ireland I could get to give me some feedback?
