I put up a post about Professional Fisherman fishing local events yesterday and had great feedback. Here is my conclusion and next question....... there will never be an even playing field when it comes to fishing or in life!! Some guys will always work harder and smarter than others, and some are just blessed with more God Given ability so I guess that makes it uneven!! It is this way in all other sports and in life. This brings up another question!!!!! I know many of these weekend anglers hire guides. Also, should guides be able to fish?? I know 2 guides on this lake that fish KY 300 days a year and every tournament they can. Is this fair?? I personally love fishing against them when I come home and havent been on the lake in months. Gives me something to help motivate me to get better. I will come to this conclusion....if I had taken the approach of being upset with pros fishing local tournaments when I was learning how to fish I would never have ended up being a decent fisherman. Seems like a HABIT you form in life. You are either someone who fights to get better or complains and throws in the towel!! Thanks for the great conversation everyone and I really do see both sides on this topic!!!!
