I quess when you are fighting for your life it really isnt anything to lose your hair. Before I found out I had Ovarian Cancer stage 3C I would not go out of the house without lipstick or gloss. Part of this was, that at an early age my mother taught me how to take care of my skin, along with some make up. She told me to moisturize every day to keep those old lines from designing themselves on my face. When I flew for United it was 5 weeks of training in which one week was on appearance. I had to wear fake eye lashes that sometimes were so long they almost touched my eyebrows. On day while serving coffee in First Class, I leaned over to pour yet another cup when suddenly the man sitting in 2B began to make a face while looking up at me. While asking him to please put is cup on my tray He slammed the cup on my tray then I looked again as he waited and realized,my fake lash was gone and it was in his cup!!! I began to tell him how sorry I was that I probably didnt put them on right since I had a O darky thirty check in which meant 4am. At first he was not very nice then he began to laugh so ofcorse I joined in. I laughed at myself realized even with tons of classes I would not be pefect. When I look at my life now I certainly dont look perfect far from it, but I do love my God with all my heart. He is perfect!
