I ran errands around 10:30 which included a stop at Dollar General for my weekly detergent, ONE case of water and bathroom supplies. I see a man with his cart piled with bottled water and I say Oh you must be from Toledo. I am so sorry for your troubles. He responded by saying No, I live here in Findlay but I want to stock up before they come down and it is all gone. Big mouth that I have I said Seriously sir, they need the water. While you may prefer bottled water, ours is safe to use. Please reconsider. He did not. While loading my trunk (in the rain) a young couple pulled up. They saw me and asked if they had bottled water left. They had been across the street and said Meijer was completely sold out. I said yes but their supply is getting low. Many people with carts piled high. It takes me awhile to get organized so I was still there when the couple came out with 3 cases of water. Apparently that was all that was left. I popped my trunk and gave them the case I bought. It was the least I could do. Some day someone is going to slap me.
