I ran into a family at work who happened to know my dad very well. They said it was a very sad, dark day when they heard my dad had passed. They said he was a very generous man and of course knew of peoples homes he had built. I love hearing these stories of my Dad and the ones he has touched and how they brag on the work he did. I cant help but cry, missing him every day, but I dont know why it got me so emotional at this moment. I had to hold back my emotions and tears as they mentioned my dad had built his own casket. Those memories and the day replayed in my head, from finding my own father had passed to the last moment I could physically see him. God blessed me with wonderful parents and my Dad left a lot of wonderful memories not just for myself, but others who had a one of a kind friendship with him. I love & miss you so much Dad!
