I ran into a lady who was damn near in tears at Thorntons last - TopicsExpress

I ran into a lady who was damn near in tears at Thorntons last week, as she said she had left her purse at home, and didnt have enough gas to get back there. I put $15 in her tank, so her and her 2 kids didnt end up walking home. This morning, I pulled up to the gas pump at Thorntons, and by the time I got out of my car, she was already swiping her debit/credit card at the pump I was at, and telling me to fill up my tank as a thank you for my help. I declined her offer for the gas, and she settled for giving me a hug instead, but anyone who tells you there is a more gratifying feeling than helping someone in need and seeing first hand how much they appreciate it, obviously has never helped someone truly in need.
