I ran into someone today who was 4 movies rolled into one today: A Beautiful Mind (John Nash), Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (Chuck Barris), Manchurian Candidate and Telefon, Ive know this fellow casually since the mid 90s. He was a caretaker for an elderly gentleman at the time. I saw him off and on, usually at Pierres, upper village. He remembered visiting my ranch and meeting my Dad in 1998. Id forgotten that hed been there. His recall was touching as he remembered my 87 year old Dads alertness, fitness, firm hand shake, and direct, green-eyed gaze. He is nice looking, about 60 years old, 6-1, 185, powerfully built. He is personable, but often tells incredible stories. Todays synopsis: Ive had Lyme disease 25 times and I just got bit by an Assassin Beetle. You should try micronized DHEA. Ive been taking it, judiciously, off and on since my 30s. Everyone I recommend it to, swears by it. Take Zinc with it. Now Ive got celiac disease. Cant eat wheat or dairy anymore. Together, I break out in blisters. I was sentenced to 20 years in 1976. When I saw the movie it became clear. The author Ludlum, was in Long Island in the early 80s and knew my psychiatrist and psychologist. The Bourne Identity is based on what happened to me. Im not alone. There must be 200 men whove been recruited. Ive been celibate on purpose for 12 years. No more emotional scenes. Im done. So done. Im going to try to collect disability. I want the DOD to furnish a psychiatrist too. If I dont get it, Im going on a bank robbery spree, up and down the coast. I asked if one wouldnt be enough. No, Ill hit multiple banks in one epic day. He mentioned smoking pot. I asked about that and he changed the subject.
