I ran the Farmdale 50 Trail Race in Washington, Illinois yesterday. It was a lot of fun but pretty challenging with all of the hills. I did manage to take some pictures while I was running. Several of them show some of the damage from this springs tornados. You can see how the tree tops have been cut off and how there is garbage littered all over the place. It wasnt on the running path itself but, in some spots, it was all off to the side. The last two photos are of the reservoir walls. It was a banner day for me in terms of tripping. I tripped 15 times and fell to the ground 7 times. Thankfully, the ground was littered with leaves and pine needles so that was fine. I did jam the same toe 4 times so its pretty sore. I took first in my age group and finished just over 12 hours.
