I rarely have any me time. Maybe a 3-4 hr night with the girls, once a month, or 1 hr mani and pedi every 2 weeks..and even though I maybe out with friends trying to catch up, my phone is non stop. Calls, texts, our work doesnt end at 8/9pm at night when most go to bed, WE rescueres keep going. My closest friends can attest to what they witness when we are together...in terms of distractions. Diana Serrano Yesika Mendez Matt Lebron Brandon Nuccio Deborah Stellio I realized last night while at training with Magic...(fps rescued therapy dog) that the 2 hour training window is ME time, me and my dog. I escape the outside world drama, facebook, family, work, health issues, bills and everything else that may come up, my phone goes off....its about me and my dog. ..last night Magic and I reached a milestone in terms of his potential. I own 7 dogs, yes 7 (4 of which were rescues, deemed unadoptable), clearly I do not have time each day to play, train, walk and nap with each one each day. I also work a full time job and try to maintain a home, and the upkeep. My health now a huge factor again in all of this. I suffer from MS, diagnosed in 2003. I had a brain tumor removed in 2013, actually 1 year from this Thursday. Now another bump in the road my heart. Which is being monitored at this moment along with daily medication. So if someone out there is having an issue that Im spending some recreational time, and actually breathing alil... I need to do that for ME both mentally and physically, for health reasons.... I wont ask you to walk in my shoes, I will ask you to spend a day in my head... Thanks for listening
