I rarely post a lone fractal as opposed to one used - TopicsExpress

I rarely post a lone fractal as opposed to one used compositionally in a painting, but every now and then I stumble upon something which pretty much stupifies me in Mandelbulb. While 99.9% of my time is being spent finishing up details for the show I will have next month at W&L University, I stopped to play a bit and came up with this. Deep in the Amazon, unknown until now and not seen by humans, a vertical forest has evolved. Where unique amazonian species of trees support layers of crystalized strata. Where the limbs of trees metamorphosize into the roots of the next layer, creating a mound of detail and life unimaginable to most humans. Its hard some relatively simple mathematics can create a scene with details down to the animals, insects and crumbling earth. Brought to you today thanks to Mandelbulb 3D Single render, no touchup See it and other fractals here on my website louismarkoya/#!Amazonian Vertical Forest/zoom/c22lf/image_5zd and fractals utilized in oil painting, classical and modern here louismarkoya/#!current-work/c1n0f
