I rate President Obama as a B- to B+ president so far. I give him an B+ for effort, a C for teamwork, a C for decision making, an A+ for the economy and D- for foreign policy. Obama is too slow on fast moving things and tends to be indecisive. He let the PR for healthcare.gov and the VA get out of hand before dealing with it. He backpedaled on GITMO and if you like your plan, you can keep your plan. His world view tends to be idealistic and he really messed up the support to Libya and Syria (line in the sand). He waited too long begging the republicans to come to the table before he started using executive action to move things along. He didnt develop a needed relationship with his party’s leaders; Reid and Pelosi (the repubs never gave him a chance on their side) and as a result they didnt give max effort on pushing bill they werent thrilled with. His Stimulus and support of TARP, the bailout of GM, cash for clunkers and the programs to help people avoid bankruptcy absolutely saved our economy and will be what he is remembered for. They worked no matter what the naysayers think. He wisely knew you has to invest money into programs to get people working, like FDR did during the depression. Here he showed great leadership against republican opposition. I also give him and his family a A+++++ for standing up to the racists and hate mongers with class and dignity. He showed that all their venom amounted to nothing; he won two terms with larger margins than his predecessor.
