I read MURIC statement today and just cant help but shudder at what religion has done to this country. I think religion needs to be relegated to private affair in this country because religious bodies which are supposed to foster religious cooperation are now fueling hate and division in the nation over flimsy excuses. If CAN is not releasing a caustic press statement today, MURIC will release another with the usual subtle threat. My take: All the inscriptions in the naira note including that of the 3 major Nigerian languages should be removed. Anybody who cant recognise and differentiate the nations currency should go to school. Am sick and tired of this attempt to massage the ethnic and religious ego of segment netizens all the time. Not everybody is a christian or a muslim. Not everybody is hausa, igbo or yoruba. If everybody start making demands or threats, the nation will be hot for us to stay NB: the pix shows the Naira note with the symbol causing controversy and the real Star of David. Compare and contrast. Please and please religious bigots and ethnic jingoist stay away from this post! #Okbye
