I read a couple days ago that a woman was killed when she fell from my favorite roller coaster at Six Flags Over Texas...My husband and I rode the Texas Giant every weekend while we lived in Fort Worth and, though I loved the rush I experienced, I frequently felt the (what I thought to be irrational) fear that the lap bar was going to release and send me flying 14 stories to the ground. I am so sad to learn that this actually happened to someone. :(
